Why Does One Choose Boarding Schools with a Christian Affiliation?
A Christian Boarding School is usually chosen for the way the philosophy of the school is focused. The typical Boarding School emphasis of education in a boarding setting along with a nucleus centered on christian beliefs based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We work with wonderful Christian boarding schools that serve troubled teens, dedicated to getting them back on the right track and back onto the pathway toward their destiny in christian beliefs through Jesus Christ. Our Christian Boarding Schools we work closely with can be considered to be a spiritual and academic treatment center for kids who are acting out. However, we are far from the typical treatment center. Most of our programs don't serve kids who are emotionally disturbed. Second, we provide parents with troubled teens a Christian atmosphere where students can reconnect with the powerful Christian-centered disciplines such as prayer, worship, and daily Bible study. However, it should be noted that our boarding schools description of a “troubled teen” is much different then most. The christian boarding schools associated with us do not serve children with acute mental health needs, a history of violence or crime, oppositional defiant disorder, or students who are in need of a psychological therapeutic treatment including drug and alcohol treatment.
For the most part, the boarding schools we work with, deal with students that are good kids from a good Christian family, yet is immature and in need of a reintroduction to spiritual and academic discipline such as good work ethic.
