ABOUT USTo educate, motivate, and inspire parents so they leave our seminars prepared with an array of skills to cope with family crisis. Media WarIn today’s society, we are engulfed by a “media war” meaning every trace of mass communication encompasses all members of society, but a specific target of media is our youth. Whether this medium is television, the internet, magazines, cell phones, or text messages, children are searching for an identity in these arenas. Very seldom does the news offer a positive light on life. Many radio broadcasts exploit inappropriate information. Magazines displayed at check-out stands attempt to convince our young people today that identification is all a matter of “looks”. Is it any wonder that children feel pressured in this day and age? By observing family dynamics, we regard this precarious situation as a serious detriment spreading within our families. Under our umbrella of seminars we focus on “media war” identification and offer solutions in producing positive alternatives with which to combat the negative influences. Unfortunately, lack of time is disrupting our way of being causing lack of self reflection. Marriages continuously dissolve at an alarming rate often due to the lack of time spent nurturing these relationships. We are losing our children due to the lack of time in fostering the family unit. The truth is we cannot teach children when time is working against us. Living in a time-starved society, we must figure out how to take back our time. The questions still remains: how far are you willing to work on saving your family? Leadership In running our seminars, we discovered leadership plays a crucial role. In order to produce successful results in any facet of life, we must understand our roles. As parents, our children look to us for leadership. At work, in our community, in our church responsibilities, and in all we do, our children look to us as their leader. Children duplicate what they see, what we say and what we do therefore; we must become better so our families can take the best from us.
In the book titled Launching a Leadership Revolution. The “Tri-Lateral Leadership Ledger” encourages us to be honest with ourselves everyday by examining these three topics: |
